Eligibility for Maid Levy Concession
Who Qualifies for the $60 Maid Monthly Levy Concession?
Familes with following members are qualify:
1. Singaporean child below 16 years old
2. Singaporean elderly above 67 years old, or
3. Singaporean family member who has disabilities.
To qualify for the monthly maid levy concession at $60, Employers must ensure that maid agencies in Singapore update the familly information during the IPA application.
When maid month levy payment starts?
For first time maid, the levy payments start on the 5th day of her arrival, including the day she arrive. For all other cases, the levy begins the day after the helper arrives.

Setting Up GIRO Payment for Levy
Steps to Set Up GIRO Payments
Follow these simple steps to set up GIRO payments via your online banking platform:
1. Login to apply for eGIRO for maid's levy via SingPass and select "Set up eGiro".
2. Complete the GIRO application following the instruction in the screen.
3 Setting up of payment limit and billing end date might be optional for some bank.

When and how to pay Levy
Payment Due Date:
Pay your levy by the 17th of the following month. If the 17th happens to be a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the due date is moved to the next working day. Your levy bill will specify the exact due date.
For instance, the levy bill for September 2024 needs to be paid by October 17, 2024.
Payment Methods
1. GIRO:
Set up GIRO for automatic deductions on the due date. Ensure your account has enough funds by 6 pm the day before to avoid failed transactions and fees.
2. PayNow QR:
If you don't have a GIRO setup, you can pay using PayNow QR by the same deadline
