Currently, maids from Indonesia and, the Philippines are require embassy approval before commencing employment in Singapore.

This approval helps to ensure compliance with the standards and protections set by their home countries.

Do approach agency that have been accredited by embassy.

Ready Employment is accredited by embassy. Check this out.
Embassy approval plays a crucial role in safeguarding the rights and welfare of the maid. For Indonesian and Filipino maids, their respective embassies impose specific requirements that employers must follow, such as mandated training, stipulations in the employment contract, and mediation processes in the event of disputes.

Additionally, only agencies that have acquired accreditation from the embassy are authorized to bring in maids from these countries.

This accreditation ensures that the maids brought in by the agency are legal workers and receive the necessary protections and recognition under the law. Therefore, it is vital to avoid engaging with agencies that are not accredited by the embassy.

Our company is accredited by both the Indonesian and Philippine embassies, which means you can trust us to provide you with a legal and compliant hiring process for your maid.
The waiting time for getting a maid can vary, typically taking from one weeks to six weeks. Factors influencing the waiting time include:

Medical Insurance: Minimum coverage of SGD 60,000 per year for inpatient care and day surgery.
Personal Accident Insurance: Minimum coverage of SGD 60,000 per year for death or permanent disability.
A security bond is a binding pledge from the employer to the Singapore Government to fulfill employment conditions for the maid. For non-Malaysian maids, the bond amount is usually SGD 5,000 and serves as a financial guarantee.
The security bond can be forfeited in whole or in part if the employer fails to comply with the employment conditions set by MOM, such as:

1. Inadequate provision of adequate accommodation and rest days.

2. Failing to pay the maid’s salary on time.

3. Allowing the maid to work for another person or engage in illegal activities.

4. Domestic helper went missing and cannot be found. If she is found leaving Singapore LEGALLY through an immigration check point, your security deposit will NOT be forfeited.
